CARB300 Filter

The activated carbon is contained in micro-perforated galvanized steel cylinders, in packs of 4: the CARBO 64 module contains 6 cartridges (6 kg each for a total of 40 kg of activated carbon per module).
Applications: Filtering of welding fumes, emissions containing gases adsorbable by activated carbons: air filtration for pressurized “dust-free” rooms, filtration for reintroduction ducts. The filter allows the recovery of air in the environment when applied to welding fumes: however, it is advisable to check the local provisions of the competent authorities, especially in the case of large air flows. The CARBO unit can be applied as a post-filter on paint booths (with solvent-based paints): in this case, recovery in the environment is not allowed (a technically universally accepted standard). In the case of water booths, it is necessary to insert a calibration damper between the booth fan and the filter to prevent air loaded with suspended water droplets from entering at the same time, which would prematurely clog the bags and limit the operating life of the activated carbons.
